Service Description

Book this appointment after you've had an introductory call with Kaitlin and have submitted your online intake information. In this meeting we will begin by discussing your specific situation, the probate process in more detail, and ultimately figure out if you'd like to hire Sunset Legal to represent you. If hired, we will then begin the necessary steps to petition the court to be named the executor or administrator of the deceased's estate. While there is no cost to schedule this consultation, there will be an advance retainer required of $2000 once you've signed an engagement agreement. These funds will be placed in the firm's trust account to cover the initial costs of representation (such as court fees). This meeting will be conducted via Zoom. You will receive call instructions in your confirmation email.
