WHAT WE DO
ESTATE PLANNING
In California, a complete Estate Plan generally consists of a Living Trust, Will, Power of Attorney, Healthcare Directive, and (if needed) Guardianship documents. Taking care of these documents now means that when the worst does happen, perhaps unexpectedly, there is a plan already in place to take care of your personal and financial affairs. The best part? The plan will be specially designed by an experienced attorney with YOUR input and will ensure that YOUR wishes are carried out. As a consequence, you will save your loved ones a lot of unnecessary stress (and money) down the road.
Everyone over the age of 18 needs some sort of Estate Plan, regardless of net worth. We will meet with you and strategize with you what is needed in your specific situation before drafting your documents.

ESTATE ADMINISTRATION
Estate Administration refers to the process of collecting, managing and distributing one's estate in the event of their incapacity or death. When there is a Trust, it is the responsibility of the designated Trustee(s) to ensure that the administration is properly carried out. Our attorneys are experienced in this often complex process and provide counsel to the Trustee(s) as they serve in their role. Among other things, we make sure you are aware of your many legal obligations and prepare the necessary transfer documents.
We can also act as therapist (disclaimer: unlicensed), messenger or conflict mediator in the event your estranged half sister decides to cause problems.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Planning for the future and dealing with the incapacitation or loss of a loved one are often big stressors in our lives. Let us uncomplicate things and counsel you through the process, in whatever capacity you need. You don't have to go it alone.
